Kenya Foreign Minister stressed results of Cuban diplomacy.

Nairobi, April 8. Dr. Amina Mohamed, Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Kenya, during a graduation in Nairobi of cadets from the Foreign Service Academy of that country, praised the trajectory and results of Cuban diplomacy.

During the gala, where the Cuban Ambassador in this country was invited, Dr. Mohamed, addressing the graduates, recognized the tenacity and patriotism of the Cuban diplomats, which, according to her, has helped to get the achievements of the country in the international relations field. The words of the Minister were followed by an ovation from the more than 200 persons present in the room.

Cuban Ambassador Ernesto Gómez Díaz, during his short speech, thanked the Kenyan Minister for Foreign Affairs for her words on Cuba, and emphasized the principled policy followed by the diplomacy of the Revolution, which has always been inspired by the example and guidance of the Commander In Chief Fidel Castro Ruz. He further urged the recent graduates to always have in their hearts the people they represent.

At another moment of the emotional evening, the Political and Diplomatic Secretary of the Kenyan Foreign Ministry, Tom Amolo, announced that in the immediate future will begin collaboration between the Foreign Service Academy of Kenya and the Higher Institute of International Relations of Cuba "Raúl Roa García ".

At the ceremony, besides the graduates and their relatives, were the main executives of the Foreign Ministry, as well as ex-Ambassadors, other leaders of the Kenyan Government and a representation of the Diplomatic Corps accredited in Nairobi.
