Kenyan President asks in UN to lift the blockade against Cuba

Nairobi, September 23. The President of Kenya, H.E. Mr. Uhuru Kenyatta, asked today in the United Nations  General Assembly to lift the criminal blockade that the United States has imposed on Cuba for more than 60 years.

During his intervention in the general debate of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly, the Kenyan president expressed: “I wish to make a special appeal for an end to the economic and commercial as well as financial embargo against Cuba”.

Kenya has consistently advocated before the UN and the African Union for the end of this genocidal policy of successive United States governments, which cause pain and suffering to the Cuban people.
