The African section of the Witte Literary Society in The Hague, Netherlands, hosted a keynote address by Dr. Enrique Alemán Gutiérrez: "Cuba: Cultural Diversity and Ethnography."

Before an audience of scholars and supportive friends of Cuba, Dr. Alemán reviewed Cuban history, highlighting the African influence on the identity and social resilience of the Cuban people.

Through an insightful and engaging presentation, he outlined the complex conditions faced by the Cuban people in the face of the hostile and criminal blockade, and their creative capacity and resilience, marked by their African heritage.
