La Colmenita started its return home after successful presentations in which intense emotions were experienced.
Sponsored by the Cuban Embassy in Ankara, a farewell meeting took place with the participation of the families that welcomed them in their homes and friends of the Cuba-Turkey solidarity association José Martí.
The First Secretary of the Cuban Embassy in Ankara, Oscar Redondo Ramos congratulated the theater company and thanked them for the quality and depth of their work which is an expression of love for Cuba. He also dedicated words of deep gratitude to the Turkish families who received them in their homes.
During the day, the children's theater company paid tribute to Atatürk, founder of the Turkish Republic, and the Cuban apostle José Martí.
