Vientiane April 7, 2023. The Embassy of Cuba participated together with the Diplomatic Corps accredited in this capital, in the celebration for the advent of the Lao New Year, or Pi Mai number 2566, which traditionally takes place between April 14 and 16.
An enthusiastic crowd in an atmosphere full of joy, welcomed the meeting organized in Peuksa, by the Lao Ministry of Foreign Affairs, after 3 years of pandemic
The occasion was graced by the Vice Prime Minister and Chancellor, Mr. Saleumxay Kommasith, honored with the presence of the President of the Foreign Relations Commission of the CC of the PPRL, Cro. Thongsavanh Phomvihane, MINREX and Party higher officers and officials.
The Cuban Ambassador Enna Viant Valdes and staff of the diplomatic mission, shared with the Lao brothers and their colleagues, after the 3-year break caused by COVID-19, the pleasure of sharing and meeting with positive and renewed energy , to receive and reciprocate personal and family happiness and all kinds of successes to the lao people.
