Lao PDR celebrates the 114th anniversary of International Women's Day

Vientiane, March 2024. The Cuban ambassador held a friendly meeting and exchange with women leaders of Lao PDR, including the vice president of the Lao Women's Union and the deputy minister of the Ministry of Planning and Investment on the occasion of the celebration of the 114th anniversary of International Women's Day.

The meeting was organized by the representative of the United Nations Development Program, UNDP, and the French Embassy in this capital, under the slogan "Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress", within the framework of the World Day of Struggle for Women's Rights.

Representatives of civil society, international NGOs and ambassadors accredited to Lao PDR participated.
