Comrade Thongloun Sisoulit, Secretary General of the Central Administrative Committee of the President of the Lao PDR, welcomed the visit of Comrade Esteban Lazo Hernandez, the judge of the Central Politics Department of the Communist Party of Kuba, the President of the National Assembly of the People's Power of Kuba on November 4 at the Central Office of the Party, Vientiane Capital, on the occasion of the delegation of Kuba visiting Lao PDR officially and participating in the 50th anniversary celebration. On this occasion, the President of Lao PDR welcomed and expressed his happiness to meet his comrade Esteban Lazo Hernandez this time; and at the same time he praised his visit to Lao PDR this time is his first visit to Laos PDR as the President of the National Council of People Power of Kuba, his visit is in the atmosphere of Lao PPR, we who have just finished hosting the ASEAN Summit 44th - 45th and 45th ASEAN International Conference at the end of October and also an important contribution to strengthening the friendship relationship and cooperation that has been established for a long time on the basis of socialism between the two parties, the two states and the people of the two Lao-Cuba nations.

Comrade Esteban Lazo also expressed his gratitude to Comrade Thongloun Sisoulit and reported on his official visit to Lao PDR and participated in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Laos PDR and Kuba. At the same time, he reported the result of the meeting of the two parties with Comrade Xaysomphone Phomvihan, the president of the Lao National Assembly, which was another important milestone of strengthening the cooperation relationship between the two countries in general, specifically between the two legislative bodies of the two countries.
The meeting with the President of the Lao National Assembly, which together reiterated the cooperation between the two legislative organizations of the two countries in the past, exchanged views on the regional, international situation and discussed the direction of the future cooperation plan, and will continue to push for the implementation of negotiations, contracts and agreements between the two Governments to enable the economic, commercial, public health, agriculture, education-sport cooperation of the two countries to be developed coupled with political cooperation, with this continued support and encouragement. Also agreed to join hands in movement in regional and international parliamentary stages namely AIPA, IPU and others, to contribute to maintaining peace, stability and cooperation for sustainable development in the region and international.
Comrade Thongloun Sisoulit also mentionned the celebration of the establishment of the Lao-Cuba diplomatic relations, 50 years anniversary in Lao PDR.
