Laos promotes business-friendly environment and development at Forum held in the capital

Vientiane April 2024. The Ambassador of Cuba, Enna Viant, participated in the interesting 15th edition of the Business Forum, a meeting chaired by the Hon. Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone. Sectoral ministries, the Lao National Chamber of Commerce, representatives of the Lao business sector, international NGOs, United Nations agencies, Australian and European Union Business Chambers and embassies participated, among others. Proposals, mesures taken  and legal framework were analyzed to promote a favorable environment aimed at encouraging business and strengthening the Lao economy, with the support from government, the private sector, and other local and international actors, including development partners.
