Islamabad, 24 July 2026. For the second consecutive day, the photo exhibition and book display, inaugurated at the Cuban Embassy to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, attracted a large number of visitors and received sustained coverage in the local media.
On the second day, Cuban women residing in Pakistan also attended, enjoying the photo exhibition in the company of their daughters and other family members.
They were joined by a group of Pakistani doctors who graduated from medical schools in Cuba and traveled from cities far from the capital.
The occasion was taken to thank the photographers and other members of the Pakistan-Cuba Social Forum who supported this endeavour, which has now become a reality.
