Latin American ambassadors to promote trade links with New Zealand

Wellington April 18, 2017. In a meeting with the Minister of Trade, Todd McClay, the ambassadors of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Cuba and Mexico, expressed their interest in promoting  greater economic and trade ties between Latin America and New Zealand.

The kiwi Minister explained the details of the newly announced Trade Agenda 2030, with which New Zealand intends to achieve greater access and exchanges for its business community at the global level. McClay also commented on the priority granted to the expansion of contacts with Latin America.

The exchange took place as part of the Latin-American Group working schedule in Wellington and also featured the presence of Felicity Buchanan, Director of the Division of the Americas at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the host country. (Embacuba NZ)
