Leader of the Communist Party of Sri Lanka expresses his solidarity with Cuba
Sri Lanka, November 19, 2021, The Ambassador of Cuba Andrés Marcelo González Garrido, received at the headquarters of the Cuban embassy in Colombo the Leader of the Communist Party of Sri Lanka (CPSL), D.E.W. Gunasekara, who expressed his solidarity with Cuba as well as his rejection of the blockade and the interventionist policy of the United States against Cuba.
The communist leader of Sri Lanka was also accompanied by Dr. G. Weerasinghe and Wilfred Jayasinghe, General Secretary and member of the CPSL Central Committee respectively.
The official organ of the CPSL “Aththa” (Truth)” published last week a message of solidarity with the Cuban Revolution in which the hostility of the United States against Cuba was condemned.
