Leader of the Saint Lucia Labour Party receives the Cuban Ambassador

The Cuban Ambassador in Saint Lucia, Alejandro Simancas, was received by Honourable Philip J. Pierre, Leader of the Saint Lucia Labour Party. At the meeting, they exchanged opinions and ideas on the favourable course of friendship and collaboration relations between the two countries and the traditional ties of interchange and work that exist between the Saint Lucia Labour Party and the Communist Party of Cuba. Philip J. Pierre, who is also the Parliamentary Representative for the District of Castries East, emphasized the importance of reinforcing the exchange between the Legislative Chambers of both countries.  He also reiterated his Party’s message of solidarity with the families affected in Cuba by the recent tornado.
