Leaders of Cuba have sent messages of congratulations to Việt Nam's newly elected key leaders

Leaders of Cuba have sent messages of congratulations to Việt Nam's newly elected key leaders, following the elections by the country’s National Assembly. The messages were extended on the occasion of Tô Lâm, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Việt Nam (CPV) Central Committee, being elected State President; Lê Minh Hưng being elected Prime Minister; and Trần Thanh Mẫn being elected Chairman of the National Assembly.

Congratulating General Secretary Tô Lâm on his election as State President, First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee and President of Cuba Miguel Díaz-Canel reaffirmed the strong will and commitment to further promoting the special friendship, solidarity and cooperation between the two nations.

The President of the National Assembly of Cuba, Esteban Lazo, extended his warmest congratulations to Trần Thanh Mẫn on his re-election as President of the National Assembly of Vietnam.

Lazo emphasized that under the leadership of both parliaments, inter-parliamentary ties will continue to be strengthened, reflecting the trust and special friendship that unites the two nations.

Likewise, the Prime Minister of Cuba, Manuel Marrero Cruz, congratulated Le Minh Hung on his election as Prime Minister of Vietnam, underscoring the commitment to continue expanding multi-sectoral cooperation.
