Kingston, 28 October 2023. Members of the diplomatic mission of Cuba in Jamaica, health and education collaborators and members of the Association of Cuban Residents and the movement of solidarity with Cuba converged in the area known as "Kingston seafront" to pay tribute to Camilo Cienfuegos, on the 64th anniversary of his physical disappearance.
During the ceremony, they recalled his humble origins, his close friendship with our Commander-in-Chief and with Che, his leadership qualities and his tireless work in defence of the nascent Revolution.
The moment was propitious for the signing of the Code of Ethics by new collaborators of the Health and Education Brigades, who ratified their commitment to the internationalist and solidarity principles of the Revolution.
To conclude, as is the tradition of the Cuban people, flowers were thrown into the sea.
