On the 64th Anniversary of the Cuban Revolution
To our beloved and respected Cuban family and friends, the Leonard Tim Hector Memorial Committee (LTHMC) expresses greetings and solidarity on this momentous celebration of the sixty-fourth anniversary of your Revolution.
Your Revolution continues to withstand the test of time and aggression from counter forces; as its unshakeable foundation is built on the respect for humanity, and a commitment to societal justice in all endeavors. Your urgent, scientific and egalitarian response to the COVID-19 pandemic is exemplary of your focus, value system, talents and internationalism.
The Cuban Revolution remains a beacon of possibility and hope for all peoples in this region, and beyond, who have been struggling against corruption, colonialism and economic exploitation. At this time, and as we struggle for reparations from colonial enslavers, we must reflect and pay respect to your immortal Comrades and Heroes, Marti, Ché and Fidel, who struggled against imperialism and gave their all for freedom and justice.
On behalf of the people of Antiguan and Barbuda, we express our sincere thanks and appreciation for your kind assistance to us over the decades, especially in the areas of health and education.
Once again, standing with progressive movements, we make an humanitarian appeal to the US Administration to adhere to international law and terminate its illegal, financial and economic blockade of Cuba.
Long Live the Cuban Revolution!
