THE MASK OF THE LIE FALLS OFF COMPLETELY.

The new unilateral coercive measures approved by the US government, in addition to further reinforcing the strangulation of Cuba as a policy of punishment against an entire population, once again unmask the US Secretary of State and the rest of his anti-Cuban clan, who have not tired of repeating the lie that their genocidal policy of economic warfare is only directed against the Cuban government and its companies, and not against the private sector that they claim to support, or what they call "the average Cuban."

The siege on Cuba's right to grow, process and eat its own food.

In recent weeks, the U.S. State Department announced a new round of economic sanctions against Cuba, this time targeting industries that had historically been exempt from the brutal economic warfare measures the U.S. has waged against Cuba for over 66 years. The aim now is to completely block the country's ability (both public and private sector) to purchase food and agricultural products, food processing equipment, and supplies that would boost domestic agricultural and food production.

Statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba

Today, the main news outlets in Antigua and Barbuda gave wide coverage to the statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba, rejecting the arbitrary and unfounded decision by the current Government of the Republic of Ecuador to expel all diplomatic personnel from the Cuban Embassy in that South American country.
