Dear Graduates,
The indomitable Maya Angelou in her writing ‘Wouldn’t Take Nothing for MY Journey Now’ wrote: “That knowledge humbles me, melts my bones, closes my ears, and makes my teeth rock loosely in their gums. And it also liberates me. I am a big bird winging over high mountains, down into serene valleys. I am ripples of waves on silver seas. I’m a spring leaf trembling in anticipation.”
Former premier Antigua and Barbuda, Winston Baldwin Spencer exchanged with Fernando González Llort, Hero of the Republic of Cuba and president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), on his visit to that institution.
Both Baldwin Spencer and the delegation that accompanied him received extensive information from Fernando related to the work of ICAP and the struggles in which the Cuban social institution accompanied by the International Movement of Solidarity with Cuba is immersed.
