Kingston, 28 October 2022. Members of the Cuban state mission in Jamaica gathered this afternoon, 28 October, in the area known as "Kingston Malecon" to pay tribute to Camilo Cienfuegos, on the 63rd anniversary of his physical disappearance. The activity was presided over by the Cuban Ambassador Fermín Quiñones Sánchez and the coordinators of the health and education brigades Dr. José Armando Arronte Villamarin and Reynel Isalgué Isalgué.
During the ceremony, they remembered his humble origins, his close friendship with our Commander in Chief and with Che, his qualities as a leader and his tireless work in defence of the nascent Revolution.
Kirenia Ramos, on behalf of the new health collaborators, read out the Code of Ethics, which reaffirmed the internationalist and solidarity principle of our nation.
To conclude, as is the tradition of the Cuban people, flowers were thrown into the sea.
