Malaysia and Cuba expand academic collaboration

Kuala Lumpur, October 4, 2025. Professor Dr. Roy Anthony Rogers, from the Department of International and Strategic Studies, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, University of Malaya, participated online in the 10th Strategic Studies Conference, organized by the Cuban Center for International Policy Research (CIPI), held from October 1 to 3, 2025, in Havana, Cuba.

Dr. Rogers presented two interesting articles: “Malaysia’s Entry into the BRICS” and “Malaysia as a Third Country in the Current US-China Relations.”

This event provided an opportunity for experts from various regions to discuss the current international scenario and to expand academic exchange between Cuba and Malaysia.
