Malaysia and Cuba identify possibilities for collaboration in biotechnology

Kuala Lumpur, August 20- The Cuban ambassador to Malaysia, Ibete Fernández Hernández, received the director of the National Institute of Biotechnology of Malaysia (NIBM), Mohd Redzuan Mohd Sofian to address the opportunities for bilateral collaboration in biotechnology.

At the meeting, the parties analyzed the possibilities of combining the technical infrastructure of Malaysia with the human resources of Cuba to achieve a mutually advantageous collaboration that allows the advancement of both countries.

The ambassador, for her part, explained about the collaboration modalities that Cuba offers in the sector and reiterated the island's willingness to collaborate with Malaysia.
