Kuala Lumpur, May 9 - The Director General of the Malaysian Atomic Energy Licensing Board of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, Hamrah bin Mohd Ali, welcomed the Cuban delegation that came during a week will participate in a technical visit for the exchange of experiences.
This visit, sponsored by the IAEA, will allow Cuban specialists to acquire knowledge about the nuclear security regime, the establishment of radioactive control systems at the borders that guarantee the security of the country.
Welcoming them, Mr. Hamrah emphasized Malaysia's willingness to share all its experiences with Cuba and also to receive from the Cuban side information about the work that Cuba has done in this area.
The Cuban delegation is headed by Carlos Anasagasti Angulo, Director of the Center for Automation and Information Management and composed of experts from the General Customs of the Republic of Cuba, the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment and the Ministry of Interior.
