Malaysian Doctors Graduated in Cuba Express their gratitude for Cuban Medical Cooperation

Kuala Lumpur, April 22, 2025. Malaysian doctors who graduated in Cuba sent a letter to the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) to express their gratitude and admiration for the humanitarian work of Cuban medical cooperation.

In the letter, they expressed their sincere appreciation, describing as "extraordinary the humanitarian work carried out by Cuban medical brigades around the world."

They explained that thanks to Cuba's cooperation, a total of 31 Malaysians graduated from the Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM), which they consider has become a lighthouse of hope and opportunity.

In their message, they highlighted the great impact of the Cuban medical brigades, noting that their work has made a notable difference in the health and lives of countless people on all continents, especially in vulnerable communities that are often marginalized by conventional health systems.

The Malaysian doctors affirmed that the world owes a debt of gratitude to the Cuban Medical Cooperation program, whose guiding principles continue to inspire hope and healing around the world.
