Kuala Lumpur, October 10 – The Chief Secretary to the Government of Malaysia Tan Sri Ali Hamsa received a courtesy visit from the ambassador of Cuba to Malaysia, Ibete Fernández Hernández.
At the meeting, the Chief Secretary to the Governmentexpressed his condolences for the damages caused to Cuba by Hurricane Irma. The parties also discussed the possibilities of collaboration between Cuba and Malaysia, identifying potentialities in the biotechnology and medicine sector.
The Cuban ambassador addressed the different projects that are carried out with private companies and invited the government of Malaysia to be part of them.
