Malaysian media highlights achievements of Cuban women on occasion of March 8

Kuala Lumpur, March 15 - The national news agency of Malaysia, Bernama, published an interview with the Cuban ambassador, Ibete Fernández Hernández, on the occasion of March 8.

The publication reflected the contribution of Cuban women to the development of the country since the triumph of the Revolution and what the government has done to empower it. The high rates of education and social participation attracted the attention of the public that had access to the interview through social networks.

The ambassador highlighted the role of Vilma Espin in the founding of the Women's Federation, aimed at achieving the advancement of women, from the triumph of the Revolution.
