Kuala Lumpur, October 11 - With the title "Enough of blocking", the Malay Mail newspaper published an article based on the interview given by the ambassador Ibete Fernández Hernández to the journalist Dato Lee Yew Men.
Considering the blockade as a violation of the Charter of the United Nations and International Law, the article calls for adding voices against this unjust policy that for decades has caused suffering among the Cuban people. It also recognizes Cuba's progress in the health sector and the impossibility of sharing it with the entire world due to its extraterritorial scope.
The Malay Mail newspaper has followed up the blockade against Cuba since last year with the intention of sensitizing Malaysian readers. The campaign has been extended to the editorial staff where the director of the publication, Dato Lee Yew Men and his team carry the "UnblockCuba" handle.
With the original title "Enough is enough, Unblock Cuba", the article was published in the digital and printed version of the newspaper.
