Malaysian press highlights work of Cuban medical brigades to confront covid 19

Kuala Lumpur, April 28- The malasyan national news agency BERNAMA published in its digital version an article about the Cuban medical collaboration in various countries of the world to face the covid 19 pandemic, based on an interview with the Cuban ambassador in that country, Ibete Fernández Hernández.

The article highlights the presence of 22 medical brigades in the same number of countries, made up of 1,455 health professionals, as well as Cuba's solidarity and internationalist vocation, as part of the values ​​that identify the Cuban nation.

It also mentions the damages that the unjust blockade has caused to the Cuban health system and how despite this unilateral policy, Cuba has been able to provide aid despite the unjust blockade that the country suffers for 6 decades. According to what the ambassador said, “Cuba's contribution in the fight against covid 19 is in line with the island's internationalist practice of helping those in need”.
