On June 3, member of the Political Bureau and Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz arrived in Istanbul at the head of the Cuban delegation that will attend the inauguration of the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, which will take place this Saturday afternoon.
Cuban Ambassador Alejandro Diaz Palacios, who is part of the Caribbean delegation that will participate in the ceremony, went to Istanbul International Airport to welcome him, together with the Director General of Bilateral Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Angel Villa Hernandez. Representing the Turkish side were the Deputy Governor of Istanbul, Sevket Atli, and the Deputy Commander of the Provincial Gendarmerie, Colonel Kadir Kalayci.
