March in support of Cuba and Palestine in Dublin. Denounces blockade on oil imports.

Dublin, February 22, 2026. At noon yesterday, Saturday, convened by the Communist Party of Ireland, as part of actions in support of Palestine, hundreds of demonstrators marched through the streets of the Irish capital to also denounce the actions against the Cuban people.

The march denounced that since 1962, the United States has illegally blocked Cuba's trade with any other country. It also denounced that since January 29, the executive order signed by President Donald Trump has kept the Caribbean nation under siege, preventing any country from sending oil to Cuba.

Palestinian and Cuban flags, along with Irish flags, were waved by the participants as a show of solidarity and support for the Palestinian and Cuban peoples.
