The Hague, 6 March 2018. A delegation from the Mariel Special Development Zone made a three-day working visiti to The Netherlands. Oscar Pérez-Oliva Fraga, director of Business Assesstment of the MSZD office and Yohana De León García, legal advisor, held meetings with Dutch counterparts already established in the Zone and with others wth whom they have already identified potential business opportunities. They also met with Guido Landheer, Assistant General Director for Foreign Economic Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The exchanges, held in 3 cities in The Netherlands, also allow the visitors to see dsome of the latest technological and entrepreneurial advances of the companies visited.
The visit was also a good oportunity to explain the opportunities offered by the MSDZ, which curently have 34 greenlighted projects from 15 countries. In the case of The Netherlands, there are two companies already established in the Zone and both have continued to identify new opportunities to increase their presence in this major area for sustainable development in Cuba.
The delegation was accompanied by the Ambassador of Cuba in The Netherlands, H.E. Soraya Alvarez Núñez and First Secretary Ms. Susellys Pérez Mesa.
