MAYOR OF VERIA RECEIVED THE AMBASSADOR OF CUBA

The mayor of Veria, Mr. Konstantinos Borgiazidis, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Greece, Aramis Fuente Hernández, at the city's Municipal Palace. The president of the Association of Philologists of Imathia, Mrs. Eugenia Cavalari, was also present.
At the meeting, which took place in a friendly atmosphere, various topics of bilateral interest were exchanged, highlighting the traditional and good relations between Greece and Cuba and the prospects of continuing to strengthen them with the Imathia region, on issues related to history. , education and culture.
The ambassador recognized the extraordinary archaeological wealth of the region, as well as its well-known and admired traditions.
