Ms. Tina Katsafaki, mayor of the municipality of Zografou, received Ambassador Aramis Fuente Hernandez this afternoon. He thanked her for all the expressions of friendship and solidarity shown in this important municipality of the Greek capital, especially for the donations of medicines made to support the Cuban people in the face of the difficult situation they are experiencing due to the unprecedented strengthening of the economic, commercial, financial, and energy blockade.
During the meeting, which took place in a friendly atmosphere, Ms. Katsafaki reaffirmed the solidarity felt by large sectors of the Greek people toward Cuba and confirmed the decision to continue carrying out actions in the municipality of Zografou in support of the Cuban people and to strengthen awareness of their current situation and their struggle.
