We held a fraternal and friendly meeting with members of the board of directors of the “José Martí” Cultural Association, Solidarity with Cuba, from Greece. We talked about the important and systematic activity of solidarity with the people of Cuba and its Revolution, which the Association has been carrying out since its inception, as well as about the initiatives that are planned to be carried out in the coming months.
We also offered information about the current situation in Cuba and the extraordinary work carried out by Cuban scientists, who managed to develop the vaccines with which the vast majority of the population is already immunized, which has allowed the control of the pandemic in the country. Likewise, they discussed the actions of the United States government to reinforce the economic, commercial and financial blockade that they have applied against our people for more than 60 years, and the harmful impact that this has on all sectors of Cuban society.
