In a fraternal and friendly atmosphere, we met members of the Hellenic Cuban Association of Friendship and Solidarity with Cuba. Once again, the permanent work carried out by the Association to promote and strengthen friendship and solidarity between the peoples of Cuba and Greece and the actions carried out to continue strengthening their historical ties were recognized.
During the meeting, we provided extensive information on the current situation in Cuba and the epic resistance of our people, facing the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed for more than 60 years by the United States government and the measures that have been reinforcing in recent times with the consequent and serious effects on all sectors of Cuban society.
