Organized by Editorial Diethnes Vima, a meeting was held in Athens to celebrate the 64th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution and in homage to the 170th anniversary of the birth of the apostle of Cuban independence, José Martí.
In the event, held at the premises of the Association of Archaeologists of Athens, and which was attended by members of the Publishing House, Latin Americans and Cubans residing in Greece, as well as participants from other countries, the Cuban ambassador highlighted the importance of that date, which marked the definitive independence of the island and the beginning of a new stage in the struggles of the heroic Cuban people.
Previously, Natasa Terlexi, in charge of the editions of Diethnes Vima, presented the re-edition of the book The First and Second Declaration of Havana, and Dr. Safik Ahmad, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Pakistan, also intervened. He referred, among other topics, to Cuba's internationalist solidarity in the field of medicine.
The meeting concluded with songs with songs performed by the Cuban musician, residing in Greece, Remy Mailán.
