Accra, May 21. Julio E. Pujol, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Ghana, received Vijay Prashal—a prominent historian, journalist, and Executive Director of the Tricontinental Institute for Social Research—who was visiting Accra, as well as Kwesi Pratt Jr., Leader of the Socialist Movement of Ghana, and other friends of Cuba.
The meeting provided an opportunity to reaffirm, in the strongest possible terms, the unequivocal condemnation of the infamous and spurious accusation by the U.S. Department of Justice against the Leader of the Cuban Revolution, Army General Raúl Castro Ruz. All agreed that the U.S. government has neither the legitimacy nor any jurisdiction for such a despicable accusation, and that it will be widely condemned internationally.
