Organized by the Diethnes Vima Publishing House, and with the participation of the Cuban Ambassador Aramís Fuente Hernández, a meeting-conversation was held in Athens on the struggle of the Cuban people to preserve and expand their social conquests, against the constant and innumerable actions and aggressions that pursue the defeat of the Revolution and eliminate the example it constitutes for other peoples of the world.
Once again, the shameful and criminal economic, commercial and financial blockade that the United States government has maintained for more than six decades against that people and that has worsened in recent years was condemned. Likewise, the arbitrary and unjustified inclusion of Cuba in the spurious list of states supposedly sponsoring terrorism and the severe consequences it has for the country's economy were denounced. The immediate cessation of these policies that harm all sectors of Cuban society was demanded.
At the event, moderated by Natasha Terlexi, a member of the Diethnis Vima editorial team, the Cuban diplomat offered extensive information on the way in which the working people of Cuba, with their mass organizations and their revolutionary government, face current challenges. He also answered various questions from the participants.
