Luxembourg, March 19, 2025. Following the presentation of the Style Copies to the MAE of Luxembourg, the Cuban Ambassador to the Grand Duchy, Eva Yelina Silva Walker, held a meeting with the Director of Political Affairs of the Luxembourg Chancellery, Mrs. Veronique Dockendorf.
The meeting was an opportunity for the Ambassador to convey to Mrs. Dockendorf her willingness to strengthen relations with the government and the people of Luxembourg during her mandate. Likewise, the meeting was the opportune space to offer an update on the economic and social situation in Cuba, highlighting the effects caused by the economic, financial and commercial blockade imposed by the U.S. government against Cuba and the unjust inclusion of Cuba in the List of Sponsors of Terrorism. The Luxembourg representative ratified the support of the European country to the Cuban resolution calling for the end of the inhumane blockade policy against the Caribbean island for more than 60 years.
In addition, during the exchange, both parties reviewed the state of bilateral relations and exchanged on issues of regional and international interest.
