Meeting with farmers in the Southern Netherlands

Nederweert, Netherlands, March 30, 2025. Representatives of the Cuban Embassy in the Netherlands held a meeting with agricultural business leaders from the southern province of Limburg.

The event allowed for a friendly exchange with rural men and women, discussing the challenges and potential of agriculture in Cuba, agro-ecology, and scientific research for food and nutritional sustainability.

Investment opportunities in the agricultural sector and the importance of increasing domestic production to replace imports and ensure food security for the population were also discussed.

The Cuba Adelante Foundation, together with local farmers, contributed to the organization of the meeting.
