St. George, 12 July 2022 - The Cuban Ambassador, Luis Ernesto Morejón Rodríguez, held a fruitful meeting with Dennis Cornwall, the new Minister of Infrastructure and Physical Development, Public Utilities, Civil Aviation and Transportation.
The exchange was conducive to evaluating the current state of Cuban collaboration in this sector. At this time, 4 Cuban engineers are designing projects and supervising different infrastructure works on the island, to which 5 new specialists will soon be added to complete the UNECA brigade in Grenada. The works that are being undertaken are of great importance from the social point of view as they improve the infrastructure of roads, bridges and accesses that facilitate communication between the different parishes.
Minister Cornwall thanked the Cuban collaboration in the development of his country and ratified the interest in continuing to develop and diversify it in the future.
