Abuja, March 4, 2024.- At the Embassy headquarters, Miriam Morales Palmero, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, held a meeting with Comrade Okunbor Ugiagbe Jagaban, member of the Joint Aviation Trade Unions’ Forum (JATUF).
The main objective of the meeting was focused on the coordination and preparation of the details regarding the trip that a delegation from the union group will make to Cuba with the aim of participating in the celebrations for International Workers' Day, next May 1.
During the meeting, the Cuban Ambassador thanked her for her presence and her continued support for the struggle of the Cuban people against the unjust blockade of the United States of America.
The exchange took place in a familiar and cordial atmosphere.
Third Secretary Ana Flavia Gómez Pavot was also present on the Cuban side.
