Meeting with Representative of the Committee for Foreign Relations of the Egyptian Parliament

Counselor Dennis Casares Benítez held a meeting at the premises of the Embassy of Cuba in Egypt with Tarek El KHOULY, an Egyptian representative member of the Committee for Foreign Relations of the Parliament.

The fraternal meeting explored alternatives to strengthen relations between the parliaments of both countries and to cooperate in different areas of common interest.

The Egyptian representative congratulated the Cuban people for the recent approval of its Constitution and expressed his admiration for Fidel Castro and the Cuban Revolution.

There were also moments of remembrance for the figure of former Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser, who maintained a great friendship with the Cuban Revolution.
