Tehran, July 4, 2026. Alaeddin Boroujerdi, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, received Dr. Walter Baluja García, Cuba's Minister of Higher Education. Baluja García traveled to Tehran leading the official Cuban delegation that participated in the ceremony honoring the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
The iranian parliamentarian and the cuban minister discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and agreed on the need to continue advancing the development of economic, commercial, financial, and cooperative ties.
Boroujerdi expressed his appreciation for the Cuban delegation's presence in Iran to pay tribute to the martyred leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
