Members of Norway - Cuba Friendship Association demand the end of the US blockade

Oslo, Norway.- Members of the Norway – Cuba Friendship Association expressed their condemnation of the US blockade against Cuba, demanding the end of this policy that has lasted for more than 60 years.

In a recorded message, Cihan Karakoc, president of the Association, described the blockade as an illegal, cruel and genocidal act, restating the call to the United States to stop the constant aggressions against Cuba.

Mayo Bustos, also a member of the board of the Association, highlighted the pain and suffering that this policy causes to the Cuban family. He also referred to its upsurge by the Trump Administration in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, hindering Cuba's access to medicines, supplies and equipment necessary for health care, a basic human right.

Solidarity associations, trade unions, political forces, parliamentarians and intellectuals around the world have been supporting the call to disseminate through social networks messages condemning the economic, financial and commercial blockade of the United States against Cuba. (Embacuba Norway)
