Mutare, Zimbabwe, October 17, 2025 – The Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba today sent a message to the 22nd National Conference of the Zimbabwe African National Union – Patriotic Front (ZANU-PF).
On behalf of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, we send fraternal greetings to our dear comrades and brothers of ZANU-PF, while wishing them success in holding their 22nd National Conference, according to the message delivered by the Ambassador, Her Excellency Ms. Susellys Pérez Mesa.
On this significant occasion, it added, we reaffirm our willingness to continue deepening the excellent inter-party relations, based on the Exchange and Cooperation Agreement, signed in January 2025, during the visit of Political Bureau member and Secretary of Foreign Affairs Simbarashe Mumbengegwi.
The message thanks ZANU-PF and the people of Zimbabwe for their unwavering solidarity in the struggle to lift the criminal and genocidal economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the United States more than six decades ago, as well as for the removal of Cuba from the list of alleged state sponsors of terrorism.
In agreement with the Communist Party of Cuba, in the face of the resurgence of fascist forces and the indiscriminate use of force, we must continue promoting unity among leftist and progressive forces and defending peace throughout the world.
