Nairobi, March 22.Willy Bett, Secretary of the Cabinet for Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of Kenya, received the Cuban Ambassador to this African country, Ernesto Gómez Díaz, at his office in the Ministry.
Referring to the positive state of bilateral relations, the Cuban diplomat reiterated his country's willingness to make progress in the implementation of cooperation programs between the two nations, taking advantage of the experiences they have in the fields of agriculture, livestock and livestock and fishing. In another moment of the meeting, Gómez Díaz thanked the Kenyan Minister for visiting Cuba in 2016.
After welcoming the Cuban ambassador to Kenya, Bett recalled with satisfaction his stay in Cuba and the important visits he made to various scientific centers in the Island. He also announced that the Memorandum of Understanding between both Ministries is ready, which will give a significant boost to the bilateral cooperation relations. Finally, he referred to the negative impact of the prolonged drought affecting Kenya.
