The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba begins visits to Caribbean countries.

CUBA, June 11th, 2019. - The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, will begin a tour to Caribbean countries on Tuesday, which will run until June 18th.

The journey includes the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Saint Lucia, the Cooperative Republic of Guyana and Barbados.

He will also head the delegation that will participate in the VI Ministerial Meeting CARICOM-Cuba, to be held in Guyana on June 14th. This tour will be propitious to reaffirm the historical bilateral relations of Cuba with the countries of the area, to exchange on topics of common interest, and ratify the will to continue strengthening the historic bonds of friendship and cooperation.

The Cuban Foreign Minister will carry out a broad program of activities that includes exchanges with high-level officials of the Caribbean nations visited, with Cuban collaborators and Cubans residing in those countries. The Cuban delegation is also integrated by Eugenio Martínez Enríquez, Director-General of Latin America and the Caribbean of the Foreign Ministry, and the Cuban Ambassadors to those countries.
