Minister of Health of Jamaica expresses his sympathies to the Cuban Ambassador for the consequences of the tornado that struck Havana last Sunday

Kingston, Jamaica, 29 January 2018. The Minister of Health of Jamaica, Hon. Dr. Christopher Tufton, expressed his grief and the condolences of his government for the consequences of the tornado that struck Havana last Sunday January 27th, in a letter sent to the Cuban Ambassador.

He also stated the commitment of Jamaica to help in any way possible to alleviate the impact of this natural disaster.

Dr. Tufton message adds to a tweet posted last Monday by Jamaican Chancellor, Hon. Kamina Johnson-Smith, and to numerous expressions of solidarity and support received from Jamaican friends and from Cuban nationals residing in this country.
