Kingston, Jamaica, 27 February 2019. The Honorable Delroy Chuck, Member of Parliament and Minister of Justice of Jamaica, received at the headquarters of that ministry the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, H.E. Mrs. Inés Fors Fernández.
The Cuban diplomat and the prominent Jamaican politician and lawyer exchanged on various issues of common interest in a friendly environment, one that characterizes the relations between both governments and peoples.
The Jamaican minister congratulated the Cuban people for the adoption of a new constitution in a popular consultation marked by high levels of participation and support for the project, and thanked Cuba for its cooperation in important sectors as Health and Education.
Currently, around 300 health workers and 70 professors from the largest island of the Antilles are serving in Jamaica.
