Minister of Local Government and Regional Development received the Ambassador of Cuba

Georgetown. August 20, 2020. The Minister of Local Government and Regional Development, the Honorable Nigel Dharamlal, and the Minister within that Ministry, Honorable Anand Persaud received the Ambassador of Cuba, Narciso Reinaldo Amador Socorro, who congratulated both senior Guyanese officials for their recent appointments.

During the meeting, the Ministers and the Ambassador exchanged ideas on the possibilities of collaboration in various areas of common interest, focusing mainly on current priorities of the local governments and the regional development of Guyana.
