Singapore, June 6, 2024. Minister of Social and Family Development, Mr. MASAGOS Zulkifli, Second Minister of Health; received in a courtesy metting to Ambassador Lisbet Quesada Luna.
The Minister explained the most relevant government policies on behalf the protection of families, children, and develop the multicultural Singapore´s society. Ambassador introduced to the singaporean leader about the priority of the family as the basic cell of cuban society. The cuban diplomat also explained its conceptualization within the Constitution of the Republic, and the progress made for its protection since the approval by Referendum of the new Families Code in 2022.
Both expressing their willingness to strengthen and diversify relations in these areas between PAP and PCC, as well between two government institutions.
Mr. Masagos entered politics in 2006, after being alected as Member of Parliament for Tampines Group Representation Constituency. He took on his current appointment on 27 july 202. He is also Vicepresident of the 37th Central Executive Committe of PAP.
